After you disclose your total household income, KSS Insurance can calculate how much you might be eligible for in discounts. ObamaCare offers sliding-scale discounts based on income for individuals and families making up to four times the Federal Poverty Level (FPL) (about $45,960 for individuals, $94,200 for a family of 4). Final note: Though it’s called a “tax credit” the government discount goes directly to the insurer. You won’t see a check. And, only legal U.S. residents are eligible for financial assistance.
